Hayden Panettiere’s parents, Alan “Skip” Panettiere and Lesley Vogel, both wanted her earrings after her death, a coroner’s report says. Greenville County officials are holding the jewelry until they agree who should receive it.
On Sept. 22, the Greenville County Coroner’s Office determined Panettiere died from the toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methocarbamol and quetiapine, and ruled her death an accident. The autopsy found no trauma that contributed to her death. The coroner’s case is administratively closed, but police say their investigation remains open.
Vogel told Page Six in May that she had experienced “20 years of trauma” and had gone no-contact after seeking professional advice. Panettiere later called her mother’s characterization “so false” and said she had left open the possibility of reconciliation.
