Oregon quarterback Dante Moore was taken by ambulance to Los Angeles General County Hospital after a second-quarter hit to the head against USC. Lanning said Moore was moving but still being assessed; he had not spoken with Moore since the injury.
Oregon won 41-27. Lanning was unsure whether Moore would travel with the team to Eugene or remain in Los Angeles.
Backup Dylan Raiola took over after Moore left and threw for nearly 300 yards and two touchdowns. Oregon would rely on Raiola if Moore is forced to miss extended time. More information could come when Lanning next speaks to reporters Monday.
