Caitlin Clark was listed as probable with a back issue for Indiana's Sunday playoff opener against Las Vegas, drawing fan skepticism over the recurring designation. Center Aliyah Boston is questionable with a right lower-leg injury after playing just 13 minutes Thursday.
Clark missed a May 20 game because of her back and later sat out additional time after aggravating it in June. She has regularly carried a probable designation while continuing to play and has not missed a game since July 9. Some fans called the latest listing a bluff and predicted Indiana would exit in the first round, with one forecasting a sweep.
Boston left Thursday's 86-66 loss to Minnesota in the second quarter and did not return. Coach Stephanie White said the lower-leg issue had flared up again and was the same problem Boston had dealt with earlier in the season. Boston's availability could matter against an Aces frontcourt led by A'ja Wilson, given the size she provides inside for Indiana.
