One-year-old Aster waits for adoption at San Bernardino shelter

One-year-old Aster is waiting for adoption at San Bernardino City Animal Shelter. Her caregiver says more than 500 dogs are at the shelter and over 50 were placed on the euthanasia list last week; Aster’s status on the list is not stated.

Her caregiver describes Aster as sweet, gentle and affectionate. She shares a kennel with another dog, and a video of her sitting quietly and looking up at visitors was shared in hopes of drawing attention to her adoption.
