Oklo’s growing share count has diluted investors’ ownership by over 25%

Motley Fool

Oklo’s share count rose from 137.7 million at the start of 2025 to 185 million, diluting existing investors’ stakes by over 25%. It announced a second 2026 stock-sale program, for up to $1 billion, on Sept. 11.

In May 2026, Oklo approved an at-the-market offering of up to $1 billion and sold nearly 18 million shares at an average price of $55.64. A separate 2025 offering involved 12.4 million shares and raised about $1.2 billion. At-the-market programs let companies sell newly issued shares into the market over time.

Oklo is developing Aurora Powerhouses, advanced small modular reactors. The company still must work through regulatory hurdles, build its supply chain and secure fuel; the article says commercial operations are years away.
