Costco identifies six leading online categories as digital comps rise 19.5%

Costco’s digital comparable sales rose 19.5% in fiscal 2026’s fourth quarter, or 19.8% excluding foreign-exchange effects. Its six leading online categories were pharmacy, home furnishings, small electronics, hardware, housewares and home textiles.

Costco did not disclose dollar totals for digital sales. Overall comparable sales rose 6.7% excluding gasoline and foreign-exchange effects; growth was 7.2% at U.S. warehouses, 4.6% in Canada and 6.2% at other international stores.

Costco reported $95.7 billion in quarterly revenue, up 11% year over year, and GAAP net income of just under $3 billion, up nearly 15%. Revenue and earnings per share of $6.75 beat analyst estimates of just under $94.9 billion and $6.55, respectively. Tariff refunds, net of management’s reinvestment, amounted to $0.15 per share; excluding that benefit, EPS growth was 12%.
