Notre Dame totaled 444 yards, including a season-high 177 rushing, in a 49-10 win at Purdue. The Irish averaged 5.5 yards per carry, while receiver Micah Gilbert recorded 10 catches for 253 yards and a touchdown over the past two weeks.
Aneyas Williams led Notre Dame with 80 rushing yards on 14 carries; freshman Jonaz Walton added 67 on seven, including a 44-yard run. Notre Dame had eight scrimmage plays of at least 20 yards against Purdue, after 15 such plays across its first three games.
Gilbert's contributions against Purdue included a 56-yard catch-and-run that moved Notre Dame into scoring position and a touchdown reception on a post route from the slot.
