Woodland couple Rao and Vasu Unnava have been missing about a month after catastrophic flooding in Nepal during a Mount Kailash pilgrimage. A friend says searchers are reaching the area with equipment, but have found no trace there or elsewhere, including hospitals.
Hemant Bhargava, a longtime friend, said relatives had traveled overseas to help with the search and flown over the site in helicopters. He did not think they had been able to land, as landing there was still not possible. Bhargava described the family’s lack of information and closure as very difficult.
