Djuna Eikelboom opened the scoring in the second quarter, and Francisca Eschoyez doubled the lead with a penalty-corner goal in the 45th minute. Eikelboom added a rebound finish in the 54th for her first career two-goal game.
Maryland has conceded just four goals this season, its fewest since 2003, and is off to its best start since 2018. Next, it visits No. 8 Princeton seeking a 10th win; the matchup is Maryland’s first true road game against a ranked opponent.
