Vikings running back Aaron Jones practiced again Friday, a positive sign for his availability in Sunday's Week 3 game against Tampa Bay, ESPN's Kevin Seifert reported. His status is not confirmed, and Jordan Mason remains out with a thumb fracture.
Jones took 23 carries for 105 yards against Chicago before hurting his knee. Minnesota could give DeeJay Dallas more work against Tampa Bay; rookie Demond Claiborne also saw action, and the Vikings signed Jaret Patterson to the practice squad Tuesday for running-back depth.
