Travis Bagent, nicknamed “The Beast,” is NFL quarterback Tyson Bagent’s father and a still-active arm wrestler. NFL Network has reported that he has 28 world championships over a career spanning more than 20 years; he has competed professionally since 1997.
Travis has credited time spent at his father Rusty’s arm-wrestling clubs with helping him succeed. Rusty, who arm-wrestled while serving in the Marines in the 1960s and 1970s, opened The Big Arm in Shepherdstown and Billy Jack’s in Charles Town, West Virginia, where competitions were held.
