Peter Navarro said the Trump administration should seriously consider no longer sending officials to Fox News, accusing the network of undermining President Donald Trump. The administration has continued providing Fox guests, including Melania Trump on Wednesday.
Navarro made the remarks Wednesday on Steve Bannon’s War Room. His dispute with Fox intensified after Maria Bartiromo left the network earlier this month; media reports said she had shared confidential Fox Business guidance with Navarro after management canceled a planned interview with him about Trump’s 2020 election claims. Fox called her departure a business decision.
Navarro also thanked Fox and the other four television networks in the White House press pool for effectively suspending pool coverage in protest of Trump’s ban on MS NOW, CNN and Politico. He said Real America’s Voice would adequately take its place.
