Motley Fool presents SentinelOne and Fortinet as AI-cybersecurity stocks for about $5,000. Its article reports first-half 2026 revenue of $569 million at SentinelOne, up 21%, and nearly $3.9 billion at Fortinet, up 23%; Fortinet's net income topped $1.1 billion.

SentinelOne's Singularity platform includes Purple AI, which the article says automates threat detection, response workflows and investigations. SentinelOne nevertheless posted a $170 million loss in the first half of 2026, compared with $280 million a year earlier, while adjusted free cash flow was $48 million.

The article says SentinelOne shares were up just over 55% for 2026 and Fortinet's had risen nearly 120% since the year's start. At the recent prices it cites, $2,410 would buy about 102 SentinelOne shares and $2,590 about 15 Fortinet shares—roughly $5,000 combined.
