The Carolina Hurricanes close out their preseason against the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday at 3 p.m. Most of Carolina’s regulars are expected to play, and Cayden Primeau and Brandon Bussi are set to handle goaltending.
Carolina has cut its roster to 28. Noel Fransen, Charles Alexis Legault and Felix Unger Sorum will get another look, while Bradly Nadeau is out; the preview does not say whether his absence means he has secured a spot. The team says viewers in its area can watch via its website, while viewers outside the area can use ESPN+.
