Microsoft is rolling out a redesigned Copilot app for business users that brings its AI chatbot, agents and coding tools together. It will have Home, Code and Autopilot tabs; Home combines Copilot Chat and Cowork with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Home and Code will roll out through Microsoft's Frontier program in the coming weeks. Autopilot renames Scout, the personal assistant introduced in June, and is due to expand in a private preview at the end of the month. Microsoft says it will appear across Teams, Outlook, chats, channels and documents, with permissions, audit and governance controls.
Microsoft also plans a Today feature, described as a proactive, personalized command center spanning mail, calendar, Teams threads, meetings and tasks. It is due to enter private preview next month and is also planned for Outlook and Teams.
