Preorders for Meta’s Ray-Ban Display glasses open today ahead of their Oct. 13 sale in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Canada. The glasses add a 600 × 600 in-lens screen for app and AI interactions; prices start at £749 in the UK and €899 in Europe.
The glasses retain Meta AI, a camera and speakers in the arms. Their display has a 20-degree field of view and brightness of up to 5,000 nits, showing app and task visuals rather than offering a full augmented-reality experience. The included Neural Band reads electrical pulses at the wrist to recognize pinches and movements for control.
Meta also announced Gen 3 Ray-Ban Meta glasses with a slimmer design and nine-hour battery life, plus a limited-edition aviator style. Its new audio glasses omit the camera and video recording but support Meta AI and music playback. A separate special-edition collaboration features rapper Lisa from Blackpink.
