Meta's Muse drew 1.8 million iOS downloads in the U.S. and Canada in its first 12 days, versus 1.3 million for ChatGPT over the same period, according to Apptopia. Muse's total across iOS and Android reached 2.8 million.
Apptopia also reported 642,000 daily active Muse users in its first 12 days, compared with 231,000 for ChatGPT in the same period. Shopify, PayPal, Expedia, Stripe and Instacart announced partnerships or plans to integrate Muse with e-commerce, payments, travel and grocery services.
Muse has a free, limited-use tier and paid plans at $20 and $100 a month. The Motley Fool calls Meta shares a buy, citing a 28-times-earnings valuation and estimating that if 1% of Meta's 3.6 billion users paid $20 monthly, it could generate more than $8.6 billion in annual revenue. That figure is a hypothetical estimate, not reported revenue.
