At its Sept. 23–24 Connect event, Meta announced smart glasses and a VR headset priced from $249 to $1,299, with some models on sale now and others due by spring 2027. The lineup spans camera-free audio glasses and display-equipped eyewear.
Meta’s Adventurer glasses are listed at $249 and arrive Oct. 23. Ray-Ban Meta Audio, a camera-free model, costs $349 and ships Oct. 13; third-generation Ray-Ban Meta costs $449 and is available now. Ray-Ban Display is on sale in the US, UK and Canada for $799, £749 and C$1,149, with preorders open in Germany, France and Italy at €899 before Oct. 13 availability. Meta VR Glasses cost $1,299 and are due in spring 2027. Meta claims three hours of continuous high-resolution playback per charge; independent reviewers have not verified the figure.
A Beat Saber update set for spring 2027 will add a new Flux mode and 35 songs, while Disney+ subscribers in selected countries can stream The Avengers and Black Panther in 3D from November 2026. ESPN’s 8K, 180-degree immersive sports streams begin with college football in 2026; Meta says its partnerships will bring more than 100 live events a year. A US hearing-enhancement feature is due later in 2026, but Meta says it is not a substitute for regulated hearing aids. After a 30-day trial, it costs $149 once or is included with Meta One.
