The Rams expect to list Puka Nacua as doubtful for Sunday against Denver after he missed Week 2 with a hip injury. Sean McVay said Nacua could return against Philadelphia in Week 4 if there’s no setback; safety Kamren Kinchens is also doubtful with a hamstring strain.
McVay gave no timetable for Kinchens. Jordan Whittington came off the injury list and could start alongside Davante Adams; Tutu Atwell could also take on a larger role. Whittington caught 13 of 18 targets for 151 yards across two games in 2024 when the Rams were without Cooper Kupp and Nacua.
Colby Parkinson is questionable at tight end, though McVay said he was “trending in the right direction.” With Parkinson’s status uncertain, second-year tight end Terrance Ferguson could be asked to take over the TE1 role. Ferguson caught six of nine targets for 54 yards against the Giants.
