Two-year-old Max is awaiting a new home at Downey Animal Care Center in California after his family surrendered him for lack of space, according to his adoption appeal. An Instagram video posted Sept. 23 showed him curled up in his kennel.
Max’s adoption appeal describes him as a playful male who previously lived with children and small dogs.
