Maurice Drake Jr. says he’d take Christie Sides over Stephanie White

WNBA expert Maurice Drake Jr. apologized to former Indiana Fever coach Christie Sides, saying he would take her over Stephanie White and that White and Caitlin Clark are “not aligned.” White remains the Fever’s coach at least through the 2026 playoffs.

The Fever reached the 2026 playoffs after a rocky regular season that ended with a 20-point loss in their final game. Sides coached Clark during her rookie WNBA season before the Fever fired her and hired White.
