Spain replaced Eric Garcia with Marc Pubill just before Saturday’s Nations League match against England, citing left-knee discomfort. Garcia appeared to pick up the problem in the warm-up; manager Luis de la Fuente hopes it is precautionary.
Spain have three more international-break fixtures: Croatia on Tuesday, Czechia the following Saturday and Croatia again on October 6.
