Luka Doncic accidentally elbowed new Lakers teammate Collin Sexton in the mouth during a scrimmage at the team’s Slovenia minicamp. Sexton bled but stayed on the court, and Doncic dapped him up afterward, footage in Doncic’s vlog showed.
Doncic said the trip was meant to help the many new players get to know one another, play basketball and see Slovenia. The vlog also showed visits to Ljubljana Castle and Lake Bled, plus a kayak race, golf and a bike ride.
Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka said players wrote handwritten thank-you notes to Doncic, and coach JJ Redick called the trip a “great team-building exercise.”
