Luis Hernandez earns first UFC win with sub-minute guillotine over Dumas

Luis Hernandez submitted Sedriques Dumas with a guillotine choke in under a minute at UFC Vegas 121, earning his first UFC win. He stepped in on two days’ notice to replace Mickey Gall and had hurt Dumas with a punch before the submission.

Hernandez, whose professional MMA record is 9-0 with every win by finish, earned a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series less than two weeks before the bout. Dumas has now gone five fights without a win and has not won in more than two years.
