Insider Monkey

Korn Ferry’s fiscal 2027 first-quarter fee revenue rose 7% to $756.5 million, extending its growth streak to six quarters; the AMS acquisition closed Sept. 1, 2026. Net income rose 4% to $69 million, but net margin fell to 9.1% from 9.4%, while adjusted EBITDA margin held at 17%.

All regions grew, led by Search, up 10%, and Workforce Solutions, up 11%. In the Americas, fee revenue rose 9% and adjusted EBITDA margin widened to 26.3% from 24.9%. Signed work awaiting recognition reached $1.9 billion, up 14%, while new business booked totaled $832.3 million, compared with $742.2 million a year earlier.

Second-quarter fee revenue guidance is $860 million to $878 million and includes AMS for September and October, so it is not an organic-growth measure. Adjusted EPS is forecast at $1.30 to $1.40, below the reported $1.43; Korn Ferry cited added amortization, interest expense and shares issued in the deal. Integration and acquisition costs rose to $7.6 million from $1.5 million, and management said it could not yet estimate the deal’s second-quarter costs. APAC fee revenue rose 1%, but adjusted EBITDA fell to $19.2 million from $19.8 million, and contracted future fees were slightly below the year-earlier level.
