Charlotte Hornets star Kon Knueppel’s hamstring injury could keep him out for all of the preseason and possibly part of the regular season. His absence gives the team a closer look at Christian Anderson and how Grayson Allen, Liam McNeely and new acquisition Buddy Hield fit.

Last season, Knueppel said a game he missed was the first time he had ever missed one.
