Seamus Casey was injured Thursday and will miss some time. Coach Keefe said Casey still needed to be evaluated and the extent of the injury was not yet known.
The Devils’ latest outing was a 4-3 overtime loss to the New York Rangers after building a 2-0 lead. The Islanders also lost their last game against the Rangers, falling 6-1 on Friday.
