Thomas Annunziata beat teammate Jake Bollman for the 2026 ARCA Menards Series title on a tiebreaker after contact at Kansas. Bollman said Annunziata spun him deliberately; Annunziata denied doing so on purpose and said Bollman had hit him repeatedly this season.
Bollman lost his 16-point advantage after a major mid-race crash at Friday’s Kansas finale. Earlier, Bollman slid into and spun Annunziata; Annunziata spun Bollman a few laps later.
Bollman said he apologized on the radio and argued he had no reason to wreck Annunziata while holding a 16-point lead. He later told FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass he would never speak to his teammate again. Annunziata cited earlier run-ins, including one at DuQuoin, and said Bollman had called it “fair game” if they made contact in the title fight.
