Virat Kohli is 59 runs short of 15,000 ODI runs, two centuries away from Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 42 international hundreds at home, and 110 runs from passing Tendulkar’s 6,976 ODI runs at home. Kohli could reach the marks in India’s West Indies series.
At Thiruvananthapuram’s Greenfield International Stadium, Kohli has not been dismissed in either of his two ODI innings: he made 33 not out against West Indies in 2018 and 166 not out against Sri Lanka in 2023. His 166 is the venue’s highest individual score in international cricket.
In six innings so far this year, Kohli has scored 384 runs at an average of 64 and a strike rate above 106, including one century and three fifties.
