KJ Martin has agreed to a deal with Minnesota and will compete for a Timberwolves roster spot at training camp, HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto reported. Martin last played in the NBA in 2024-25, splitting the season between the 76ers and Utah Jazz.
Scotto’s report says Martin averaged 8.6 points on 54.5% shooting and 4.0 rebounds across five seasons with Houston, the LA Clippers, Philadelphia and Utah. In Philadelphia, he averaged 4.5 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. Since his last NBA season, he has played for China’s Ningbo Rockets in the CBA.
