Fox News host Kat Timpf announced she is expecting her second child at a stand-up show, more than a year after undergoing a double mastectomy following her breast cancer diagnosis. She shared the reveal on Instagram; her first child was born in February 2025.
Hours before going into labor with her first child in February 2025, Timpf was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). The Mayo Clinic describes DCIS as preinvasive cancer cells inside a milk duct that have not spread to breast tissue.
Timpf later told People she did not know her prognosis during the first six weeks of her son's life. She described losing her breasts after giving birth as devastating, but said she chose the mastectomy over what she considered a worse alternative.
