Karol G, Judeline and Rusowsky’s “Bby Wow” held the Billboard Global 200’s No. 1 spot for a third week, with about 2,000 downloads sold worldwide, up 22% from the prior tracking period. The chart excludes radio, and streaming is doing nearly all the work.
When “Bby Wow” first reached No. 1, it drew more than 42 million streams and roughly 1,000 downloads. The following week, streams rose to almost 53 million while purchases stayed at about the same level, Billboard reported.
Other recent Global 200 leaders also had low download totals: PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson’s “Stateside” reached No. 1 with 47.7 million streams and around 2,000 sales, while Harry Styles’s “American Girls” and Olivia Rodrigo’s “Stupid Song” debuted at No. 1 with roughly 3,000 downloads each. BTS’s “Swim,” by contrast, sold 114,000 downloads in its second week at No. 1; Ariana Grande’s “Hate That I Made You Love Me” launched with 81,000 downloads and 63.4 million streams.
