Chibuikem Uche plays fashion designer Kojo in Netflix’s “A Different World” sequel, which premiered Sept. 24. Before pursuing acting, he worked as an actuary and took acting classes in New York while keeping his full-time job.
Uche previously played Andre on “American Housewife” and Cooper Clay in Peacock’s “One of Us Is Lying,” which ran for two seasons. His credits also include “The Tomorrow War,” “All American,” “The Rookie” and “Paradise.” He earned a degree in mathematics and actuarial science from the University of Connecticut.
Born in London to Nigerian parents, Uche lived there until he was eight, then moved to Connecticut. His brother, Chinaza, is also an actor.
