Justin Thomas highlights Jackson Koivun’s maturity before Presidents Cup debut

Justin Thomas says rookie Jackson Koivun’s maturity, competitiveness and talent have impressed him as he guides the 21-year-old ahead of his Presidents Cup debut at Medinah. They are set to face Corey Conners and Nico Echavarria in the third match on day one.

Koivun won the 3M Open in July in his third professional start, holding off a Sunday charge from Scottie Scheffler. He told Thomas he expects to be nervous on the first tee Thursday but focused once he has hit his opening shot.
