After Jaxson Dart suffered a season-ending knee injury in Monday's loss to the Rams, Tom Pelissero reported that the Giants are seeking another quarterback in a trade. Justin Fields is among the potential targets; Jameis Winston is positioned to start.
Pelissero also named Mac Jones, J.J. McCarthy, Spencer Rattler, Joe Milton and Jimmy Garoppolo as possible options. Fields signed with Kansas City this offseason and is the backup behind Patrick Mahomes.
With the Jets last season, Fields started nine games, posting a 2–7 record, 1,259 passing yards, seven touchdowns and one interception. He also ran for 383 yards and four touchdowns.
