Jude Morgan’s sofa placement creates two zones in her small rental

Artist and designer Jude Morgan placed her oversized sofa back-to-back with orange chairs in her small 1920s rental, creating a TV-facing lounge and a separate art area by the French windows. Two rugs further distinguish the spaces.

After making art in communal areas of previous homes, Morgan wanted a dedicated work spot. The area includes an easel; she said the chair pillows were her mother’s and the records on the wall came from her father’s collection.
