Bills quarterback Josh Allen invited retired defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, 39, to return to the NFL and help stop the run during a recent visit to Buffalo. Suh said he would love to join the team, but the exchange did not confirm a return.
Buffalo allowed 31 points in each of its first two games, against Houston and Detroit. Through those games, the Bills ranked fifth-worst in total yards allowed at 368 per game, but 11th-best against the run at 95 rushing yards allowed per game.
Suh said no one had invited him before and referenced Aaron Donald's return from retirement. Suh has officially been out of the game since last year and now covers football for a UK broadcaster.
