The Clippers have waived 24-year-old Johni Broome, NBA insider Jake Fischer reported, weeks before the NBA preseason. Broome spent more time with Philadelphia’s G League affiliate than the 76ers in his first NBA season, which ended with a lateral meniscus tear.
Philadelphia sent Broome and a second-round pick to the Clippers earlier in the offseason in a deal for cash considerations.
