Shouyong Zhang and Shili Chen were arrested on murder charges in the killing of their son-in-law, Jonathan McKinsey, head of engineering at New York Times Games. He was found with gunshot wounds in a Dublin, California, parking lot on Saturday and pronounced dead there.
Police said a sergeant saw McKinsey on the ground near Dublin Sports Grounds around the time several 911 calls came in. Witnesses allegedly led officers to Zhang and Chen, who police said were still in the area.
Police have not identified a motive, and the investigation is ongoing. Online court records for Zhang and Chen were unavailable as of Monday afternoon.
