Josh Hokit hit back after Alexander Volkov mocked his UFC heavyweight title shot, saying Volkov lost to the last two men Hokit beat and was lucky to remain on the roster. Hokit is scheduled to fight Ciryl Gane for the vacant title at UFC 334.
On The Ariel Helwani Show, Volkov sarcastically said Hokit had a “serious mental condition” and described the UFC’s decision to give him a title shot as noble and inspiring.
The heavyweight title became vacant after Tom Aspinall vacated it.
