Gias Foods recalled two lots of Walmart’s bettergoods Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine after state testing indicated they may contain Listeria. The bags were sold nationwide, and the company says no illnesses have been reported to date.
The recall covers only 22-ounce yellow bags with UPC 194346442706: lot L6079C, expiring Sept. 19, 2027, and lot L6080C, expiring Sept. 20, 2027. The lot number and expiration date are stamped on the back. Return a matching bag to its place of purchase for a full refund.
Routine sampling by the Washington and Florida agriculture departments flagged the possible contamination. Gias Foods stopped distributing the pasta while it and the FDA investigate the cause.
