Fernando Mendoza is starting “Finance with Fernando,” a US Bank-backed series intended to give Gen Z a practical guide to personal finance. Subscribers can learn about 401(k) contributions and may get LinkedIn recommendations from Mendoza, which he calls the “ultimate prize.”
US Bank and Mendoza announced their partnership on April 7, naming him “Chief Financial Playmaker” to provide insights for the bank’s financial guidance program.
Mendoza holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UC Berkeley. He is currently the Las Vegas Raiders’ backup quarterback, learning behind Kirk Cousins.
