The New York Post never published the purported report of swastikas on a Jewish student's dorm door: the screenshot is fabricated, and its spray-painted-door photo comes from a 2021 anti-Jewish graffiti incident at a Tucson synagogue.
Lead Stories said searches of the newspaper's website and Google found no article matching the headline. The X post also accused a student of staging the attack, but its account identifies itself as fictional and labels its content parody and satire; the woman's image had circulated as a meme since at least 2021.
