Emerald Wealth Partners’ Growth Equity Strategy said it added to Booking Holdings in Q2 2026, citing Booking.com management’s use of AI and what it called a path to double-digit growth at a moderate multiple. The strategy returned 17.5% net, versus 19.0% for its benchmark.
The letter said the switch from BYD into Booking.com added significant value in Q2.
The strategy said gains were concentrated in semiconductor equipment and memory-chip companies, while software stocks faced pressure over AI-disruption concerns. It attributed portfolio performance to overweight positions in semiconductors, cybersecurity and communications, and flagged risks from AI-driven market excesses, rising debt financing and speculation, while saying selective opportunities in high-quality growth companies remained.
