Elton John is set to open London’s 600-capacity Apple Music Hall with a concert on Monday. Its inaugural lineup through year-end includes Charli xcx, Burna Boy, Baby Keem and others, and every performance will stream worldwide on Apple Music.
Also on the lineup are Skye Newman, Troye Sivan, Arlo Parks and Chase & Status. Tickets for the first three shows go on sale Monday at 9 a.m. local time through Dice. Apple partnered with independent U.K. promoter Communion One on booking and promotion.
The hall has a 38-foot-wide stage that can be reconfigured for in-the-round performances, a 48-speaker spatial sound system and two recording and mixing studios. It is wired for more than 16 cameras and has a broadcast control room that supports iPhone video capture.
