Oregon quarterback Dante Moore was stretchered off after USC linebacker Desman Stephen II hit him as he slid in the second quarter on Sept. 26. NBC announcers later said Moore was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for evaluation; Dylan Raiola took over Oregon’s offense.

Stephen was assessed a targeting penalty and disqualified. A near-fight followed as Oregon players confronted USC defenders; both teams received offsetting unsportsmanlike-conduct penalties.

Oregon led 13-10 at halftime. Moore had thrown for 849 yards and nine touchdowns entering the game, according to ESPN.
