Dubois said he felt ring rust and nerves after his last fight with Oleksandr Usyk and a year out of the ring, and called the Wardley bout the start of his next career chapter. He described himself as an “uncrowned king,” saying he must collect all the belts to establish his authority over the era; he sees the top 10 as good challenges, starting with Wardley.
