Fans criticized ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky for defending Packers quarterback Jordan Love after Green Bay’s loss to Atlanta, which left the team 1-2. Orlovsky said Love had under 2.2 seconds to throw, compared with the season average of 2.8 seconds.
Love posted a 75.4 QBR with two touchdown passes and one interception in the loss. Across the opening three weeks, he had thrown two interceptions and been sacked eight times; he threw six interceptions last season.
Fans replying online said Love was an average quarterback and accused Orlovsky of making excuses. The Packers next play the struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
