The Cubs and Red Sox will play Game 162 for both teams Sunday at 2:05 p.m. Central at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. Their Saturday game was moved from Boston amid a nor’easter expected to disrupt the area’s weekend.
The Red Sox had shifted the series’ originally scheduled Sunday game to Friday at Fenway Park, where Boston won 4-3. The clubs played twice in Boston on Friday.
Both teams were given Saturday off because their flights from Boston were scheduled to arrive at Clearwater airport well after midnight. At the time of the post, the Cubs’ Tuesday location and Wild Card opponent were still unknown.
