Adam Scott sinks 30-plus-foot birdie after fan heckle at 2026 Presidents Cup

At the Presidents Cup at Medinah on Friday, Adam Scott sank a birdie putt from more than 30 feet after a U.S. fan sarcastically yelled, “Get a longer putter.” The fan shouted after Scott had struck the ball.

The heckle followed Wyndham Clark’s call for U.S. fans to make more noise on Friday, after Thursday’s four-ball session. Golf Digest described the Medinah crowd as more subdued than at the previous year’s Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.
